水彩画家／デザイナー

1981年生まれ。静岡県出身・在住
静岡デザイン専門学校グラフィックデザイン科卒業

卒業後、作家として活動を開始。豊かな自然の中で育った経験から、植物や自然をモチーフとした絵画作品を制作。

2009年より京都に拠点を移し、約10年間活動。染色やテキスタイルデザイン、ワークショップなどを通して表現の幅を広げてきた。2013年頃からは「纏う絵画」をテーマに、絵画表現を落とし込んだテキスタイルやファッションアイテム、傘などを展開。2018年より再び静岡を拠点に活動。

現在は、絵画制作とデザインを軸に、植物画を活かしたテキスタイルデザインやグラフィックデザイン、イラストレーションなど、幅広い分野で活動している。

Ayano Ichiyanagi

Watercolor Artist / Designer

Born in 1981 in Shizuoka, Japan, where she is currently based.
Graduated from Shizuoka Institute of Design, Department of Graphic Design.

After graduating, she began her career as an artist. Inspired by the rich natural environment in which she grew up, she creates paintings featuring plants and nature as recurring motifs.

In 2009, she moved her base to Kyoto, where she was active for approximately ten years. Through dyeing, textile design, and workshops, she expanded her creative practice. Around 2013, she began developing textiles, fashion items, umbrellas, and other products incorporating her paintings under the theme “Wearing Paintings.” In 2018, she returned to Shizuoka, where she is currently based.

Today, she works across a wide range of fields, with painting and design at the core of her practice. Her work includes textile design incorporating her botanical paintings, as well as graphic design and illustration.
